When a Community Business Like Spencers TV and Appliance Stands Tall for Its Veterans it makes an impact

Spencers TV & Appliance Donates $54,128 to the nonprofit Honoring America’s Veterans in Arizona

In a time when meaningful patriotism is defined by action, Spencers TV & Appliance continues to set the gold standard for what it means to truly support America’s veterans.

Honoring America’s Veterans, Team members accept a large donation from Spencer’s CEO Clifton Orlandi. L-R, HAV Board Members Bill Pedene, Chris Mahon, Carter Dowdy, Paula Pedene, Dale Villani, and Tom Callinan, accept the check from Spencers President Clifton Orlandi (center).

Spencers once again turned gratitude into impact, donating $54,128.00 to Honoring America’s Veterans, representing 100% of profits from their Veterans Day sales. The donation marks another powerful chapter in a growing partnership that is making a real and lasting difference for veterans across Arizona.

More Than a Donation—A Commitment

This extraordinary gift builds on the success of last year’s campaign and reflects Spencers’ deep-rooted commitment to those who have served.

“Supporting our veterans is not just a one-time gesture; it’s part of who we are as a locally owned business,” said Clifton Orlandi, President of Spencers TV & Appliance. “We’re honored to continue this partnership and help raise awareness and funding for those who have sacrificed so much for our country.”

That commitment was celebrated this week during a check presentation at Spencers’ Mesa location, where representatives from both organizations gathered to honor what can happen when a community comes together with purpose.

Fueling a Mission That Honors Service

For Honoring America’s Veterans, this donation has a profound impact.

“Spencers TV & Appliance continues to go above and beyond,” said Dale Villani, President of Honoring America’s Veterans. “Their generosity makes a real difference in the lives of veterans and their families. This donation allows us to expand our mission and continue events like the  HAV Veterans Day Parade in Phoenix, ensuring those who served receive the recognition they deserve.”

The HAV Veterans Day Parade is one of the largest-attended Veterans Day parades in the nation, serving as a visible reminder that service matters, sacrifice is honored, and veterans are not forgotten.

Veterans Supporting Veterans

Spencers’ dedication to veterans doesn’t stop with charitable giving. Nearly 25% of the company’s sales team is made up of military veterans, a point of pride that reflects the values veterans bring into the workplace every day.

“We’re grateful for the leadership, discipline, and integrity our veteran employees bring to our team,” Orlandi shared.

It’s a powerful example of how businesses can honor service not only in words, but in opportunity.

A Legacy of Giving Back

For more than Spencers TV & Appliance has been woven into the fabric of Arizona, serving families, strengthening communities, and proving that local businesses can lead with heart.

“We’re not just in the appliance business, we’re in the people business,” Orlandi said. “When our customers shop with us on Veterans Day, they become part of something bigger. They help us give back to real heroes.”

And that may be the most inspiring takeaway of all: every purchase became a salute, every customer a partner in honoring those who served.

We tip our hats to Spencers TV and Appliance for supporting our cause as a Tiffany Cross Sponsor.
