9/11 Veterans Forum Recap
We had an incredible time at our 9/11 Veterans Forum!
FireVet Josh Landspurg gave a touching tribute to his time serving after 9/11 as a combat U.S. Air Force veteran and how it helped him become a firefighter after his enlistment.
A panel of Veterans Group Leaders from three outstanding organizations shared their insights of how their groups build a winning culture and boost camaraderie at their workplaces
From left to right:
- U.S. Air Force Veteran Patrick Fitzhugh, USAA Regional Site Director, Phoenix
- U.S. Navy Veteran Pamela Castro, National Account Manager at Cigna
- U.S. Air Force Veteran John Spiekermeier,
Veteran’s Community Care Specialist, Banner – University Family Care
We also heard some excellent leadership insights from award-winning Sonoran Technology CEO Paul Smiley, a retired U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel.
We were honored to have more than 35 different organizations attend our Forum. The discussions were insightful, and the connections made were invaluable.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success!
