A cherished Phoenix tradition is entering a new chapter. The Honoring America’s Veterans, Phoenix Veterans Day Parade will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, with a new route through central Phoenix.
The parade steps off at 11 a.m. at McDowell Road and Third Street and travels north on Third Street to Indian School Road. Spectators should not go to the former route along Central Avenue, Camelback Road or Seventh Street.
“New Route. Same Mission. 30 Years of Honor,” said Paula Pedene, executive director of Honoring America’s Veterans. “For three decades, Phoenix has come together to thank the men and women who served our nation. This year, we want every veteran, family and spectator to know that the celebration continues on Third Street.”
The free, family-friendly parade is expected to welcome more than 45,000 spectators and thousands of participants, including veterans representing multiple eras of service, military units, marching bands, community organizations, youth groups, sponsors and volunteers.
The 2026 theme, “250 Years of Freedom, 30 Years of Honor,” connects America’s 250th anniversary with three decades of public tribute in Phoenix. Organizers are asking longtime attendees to save the new route map now and share it with family, friends and fellow veterans.
