Honoring America’s Veterans is partnering with M*A*S*H star Loretta Swit to honor her for her work in supporting our military veterans and the Army Nurse Corps. At the age of 87, Swit will walk the runway in New York City during Fashion Week as part of a Philanthropic effort presented by Elysian Magazine, whose emphasis is on women supporting women.
Swit is best known for her role as Major Margaret Houlihan in the TV show M*A*S*H. Her time on the show brought her closer to our military veterans and nurses. To this day, she is a wonderful patriotic supporter and in fact has participated in the Honoring America’s Veterans Phoenix Veterans Day Parade as the Celebrity Grand Marshal three times! She is an ardent supporter of our nation’s veterans, and our nonprofit organization. We hope you will join with us as we honor and recognize her at the philanthropy CatWalk FurBaby Fashion Show, Sept. 5 in NYC.
And to truly make her sparkle
Award-Winning Designer Johnathan Kayne will design and create one of his fabulous gowns for her walk down the runway. Kayne is excited to work with Swit on this effort.
Johnathan Kayne is an award-winning designer who has been featured as a top designer on the television series Project Runway.
His dress and shoe collections are among some of the most revered.
